Release requirementEncrypted rooms · controlled access

Built for the moments that belong on mobile.

Fast replies, private notifications and Talk access come first. Complex server administration remains on Desktop until it can be made equally safe and understandable on a smaller screen.

  • Same approved VaultSec identity
  • Encrypted-room support as a release gate
  • Concealed notification previews by default
  • Explicit new-device approval and revocation
  • No payment before a real Android release exists

Implementation status and user availability are separate.

These are product targets, not claims about a downloadable application. A capability becomes available only after its Android security gate passes.

ConversationsPlanned

Encrypted inbox

Direct rooms and community threads tied to the same approved VaultSec identity.

Implementation progress is not the same as public availability.
ConversationsPlanned

Protected attachments

Encrypted images, documents and voice notes with deliberate caching and download controls.

Attachment cache and operating-system backup behaviour must pass review.
AttentionPlanned

Private notifications

Per-chat and per-community controls with concealed lock-screen previews by default.

The operating system still controls final notification delivery.
TalkPlanned

Fast Talk access

Join private voice rooms from the companion app with clear microphone and participant state.

The complete media path must pass Android device testing before beta.
IdentityPlanned

Explicit device approval

A new phone joins the account only through an approved device and revocable session.

Lost-device recovery cannot rely on notification access alone.
CommunitiesPlanned

Reading and replying

Browse approved communities and reply in channels without exposing public discovery surfaces.

First beta scope is intentionally narrower than Desktop.
AdministrationDesktop only

Complex community management

Role design, Bot Forge, webhooks and protected management remain on Desktop at first.

They move to Mobile only after the smaller-screen flow is equally safe and understandable.

Security gates before calendar promises.

The Q4 2026 target is useful for planning. It is not a guaranteed release date.

Implemented internally

Core conversation surface

Account identity, encrypted-room presentation and message UI exist in development builds; they are not a public release.

Current gate

Device hardening

Secure storage, lock-screen privacy, attachment cache, lost-device recovery and Android backup behaviour.

Release gate

Small private beta

Signed updates, crash reporting without content, device coverage, rollback and a reviewed invitation group.

What is shared, later or intentionally Desktop-only.

No hidden mobile price — and no invented promise.

VaultSec has not published a separate Android price or decided whether the companion app will be included with Desktop memberships. The active Desktop account plans are shown below so the existing ecosystem cost is still clear.

ANDROID PRICE STATUSNot published

No payment or subscription is being offered for an unavailable Android build. A final inclusion or separate-price decision will be published before its private beta.

Bot slots and custom work are priced separately.

A plan determines capacity. A build credit pays the VaultSec team to create one approved, bounded Bot Forge build for an available slot.

Two custom Bot Forge builds€7.992 build credits
Three custom Bot Forge builds€9.993 build credits

Current automated settlement uses exact SOL payment requests. BTC, LTC and ETH remain disabled until their independent watchers and reconciliation controls are ready. Plan details were reviewed on 28 August 2026.

A phone adds operating-system boundaries.

The Android release must account for notifications, backups, caches, lost devices and screenshots — not only message encryption.

01

Secure storage

Account and room material must remain in Android-protected storage before release.

02

Lock-screen previews

Concealed by default; users may deliberately choose a more revealing notification mode.

03

Operating-system backups

Android backup behaviour is outside message encryption and must be explicitly constrained.

04

Lost devices

Sessions must be revocable from another approved device; possession of a notification is not enough.

05

Screenshots

A participant can still capture content displayed on their own device.

06

Attachment cache

Temporary decrypted material must be bounded and cleared predictably.

07

Metadata

Delivery timing, device state and membership metadata remain separate from encrypted content.

DISCORD FITS BETTER WHEN

Reach, maturity and a huge ecosystem matter most.

You need a production-proven mobile app now, very large communities, broad discovery, extensive integrations or mature moderation across many platforms.

VAULTSEC FITS BETTER WHEN

Admission should stay deliberate and the surface narrower.

You want invitation-first private circles, fewer discovery paths, account-controlled automation and a product that states its security limits plainly.

Important details without another page.

Can I download VaultSec Android now?

No. The companion app is still under active development. A small invitation-only beta is targeted for Q4 2026, followed by a free open beta without invitations in Q1 2027 if its security and capacity gates pass.

Will Android cost extra?

No final decision has been published. VaultSec will state whether it is included or separately priced before taking payment for an Android release.

Will every Desktop setting be on Mobile?

Not at first. Reading, replying, notifications and Talk come before complex role, Bot Forge, webhook and protected-management controls.

Why show Desktop prices here?

They are the active VaultSec account plans today. Showing them prevents hidden ecosystem costs while keeping the still-undecided Android price clearly separate.

Desktop is the available private beta.

Android access will not be advertised as available until a real signed build passes its release gates.
